The day has arrived! I woke up this morning a published novelist!

To celebrate the launch of my debut novel, my publisher, Alex Parker Publishing, is offering free delivery to the United States and Canada if you order directly through their site, here!

In related news, I’ve received word that a book reviewer who moderates a fairly large group on Goodreads and has a sizeable following on social media reached out to Alex Parker for a review copy of Gas Giant Gambit! This is exciting news, because it means some aspect of the marketing effort is working and it is evidence there is some early, organic buzz about the book.

Hopefully they like it and share a positive review with their audience!

I’ve also recently learned Alex Parker put Gas Giant Gambit up for a few awards! This is all a part of the marketing push, but I was still pleasantly surprised to hear that news. Apparently, finding awards to submit to was challenging, as many have strict genre rules GGG does not conform to, but they did find some. Details to follow!

Finally, I’d like to thank everyone that helped me get to this point. From my wife Jessie, who encouraged and supported me through every step of the way, and sang my praises to any ear that would listen (and likely a few that would have rather not!), to my friends for listening to all the crazy ideas and for reading and critiquing early drafts, my mother-in-law who became my first developmental editor, my parents for encouraging this change in career, the wonderfully supportive writing and reading communities I’ve had the privilege of joining via social media, and, of course, Alex Parker Publishing, for taking a chance on a brand new author and his genre defying, beamslinging tale.
