Keeping it light this week because I’m extra busy with new projects and a regular hobby jumping into overtime. Add to that the fact that I just finished my first book of the year (yes, I know, I am way behind on my reading goal, and while I have broken my slump, it’s still been a struggle), From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi.
Take those two things into account, and it makes for the perfect occasion to share what is currently on my To-Be-Read pile.
Yes. Pile. I don’t like to read from a list.
Thus, in no particular order (except for the first one), because I don’t read like that:

Meat Bees by Dane Erbach
This one is actually at the top of the list because I am currently reading it. I can’t say much as I just started it, but I have been looking forward to this one for a while and am excited to get into it!

Tiger Blues by Jason Shannon
I met Jason at a convention last year and we traded books. I feel bad I haven’t gotten around to this yet, but I will!

The Dark Tower by Stephen King
I’ve slowly been rereading my all-time favorite series over the last few years, taking breaks in between instalments. But somehow the break between Song of Susanna and this final book has been the longest. I guess I don’t want it to end.

1984 by George Orwell
I’ve never read 1984. It feels like a good time to change that.

Flatland by Edwin Abbott
While I’ve always been fascinated by the concepts in this story, I’ll also be reading it for research purposes for an upcoming novel idea.

Bethesda by Lisa Morris
Indie press comedy horror? Yes, please!
But, this one’s not out yet, so it’ll have to wait.

I’m sure there are more floating around the house I’m not thinking of, and there will almost certainly be more added before these are finished. But I do hope to get to all of them this year.
What’s on your TBR list/pile?
